Hike Date: June 12, 2010
Distance: ~ 2 miles
Trail(s): Milagra Ridge Trail
Where’s it at? Peninsula. Pacifica in San Mateo

This was a nice short hike in Pacifica, CA overlooking the coastline of the Pacific. I saw a few cool birds, a snake, and an endangered butterfly on my first excursion there. There is no charge to park at the trailhead although there are very few spaces up there.
This would be a good combination hike with Sweeney Ridge which will be on another post, or you can search for it in top right. Or it’s a great day hike if you live in the area. The park was not really big enough to be a place you’d visit frequently if not a local. I did enjoy how well kept the trails were and seeing some old gunnery sites presumably from WWII.
The links below have a lot further information about this trail.
